The Snap-on Smile is tough enough to be able to eat with it, though we recommend that when you do, you find someplace where you can go after eating so that you can take it out and swish away any trapped food particles. Because of its toughness, the manufacturer says that it will last up to four years, depending, of course, on how much you use it during that period.
